Andera Appoints Kevin Weber As Chief Technology Officer

Seasoned Executive Brings 20 Years of Technology Experience to the Role

PROVIDENCE, RI - February 23, 2005 - Andera Inc., the leading provider of online account opening, enrollment, and cross-selling solutions to the community financial institution market, today announced that Kevin Weber has joined the company as Chief Technology Officer. As CTO, Weber will be responsible for Andera's overall technology direction and product architecture.

Weber brings with him over 20 years of experience managing the development of advanced technology solutions for the financial services industry. Prior to joining Andera, Weber held technology management positions with firms such as Foliage Software Systems, BrightRoad, IMRglobal, and Fusion Systems Group. As the Director of Product Development at BrightRoad, he was the manager and principal architect responsible for the development of the BrightLink suite of automated underwriting solutions. At IMRglobal, he served as a Principal Consultant in IMRglobal's insurance vertical practice. At Fusion Systems Group, Mr. Weber served as Principal and General Manager of Fusion's Boston Consulting practice. The practice was centered on the life insurance and banking industries.

Weber also held positions with Boston Systems Group and Applied Intelligence Systems. At each he worked with large financial services and retail clients to define software development methodologies and technology strategies, and managed a number of successful systems development projects. During this time, he developed the first automated underwriting system for John Hancock, a system which remains in production today.

Kevin Weber holds a B.S. in Computer Science from University of Vermont where we was a National Merit Scholar, and graduated Magna Cum Laude.
